Apple: Leopard Still On Schedule
Apple confirmed the reports are wrong and Leopard is still scheduled to ship in this spring as they previously announced. The rumor mill is wrong again

Appearing on the GIMP developer mailing list, The GIMP has now been compiled and usable as an OS X native app, without requiring the clumsiness of running with X11. Developers report that there are still a few glitches, and it will need work before being ready for general users, but it works and natively. Bring on the graphics competition!

NVIDIA Ships 128-Core Graphics Cards for Film Editors, Apple ‘Excited’
NVIDIA just cranked up its highest-end Quadro graphics cards, rolling out three graphics cards, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600, Quadro FX 5600, and NVIDIA Quadro Plex VCS Model IV that the company says represents a huge leap in performance. Jeff Brown, a General Manager at NVIDIA, says Apple is “excited” about the technology.
